Having not heard anything else re. preferences, I made a reservation for January 24th (Thursday next week) at 6:00 at the Fox and Feather on Elgin (the usual place).  Details: http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Ottawa_Chapter#Upcoming_events  Not going to be in a back room, but I assume if you go upstairs and tell a waiter that you're part of the reservation under my name they'll point you in the right direction.

 Sorry if you were hoping for the 31st.  With no additional input, and an the same number of +1s for each option, I went with the originally proposed date.

That being said, would bi-monthly meetings work better for people?  I.e. should I also make a reservation for the 3rd Thursday in February (the 21st) now, or should we consider waiting until March?  I'm hoping that once March comes around I'll have a little more time and might be able to make a presentation.

 I know we're usually the 3rd Thursday in the month, but unless it works for a bunch of you, I'd rather wait until the 24th or 31st.

 I meant to send this message out last week, but was on vacation and it slipped my mind!

 I'd like to propose a meeting January 24th.  I assume it will probably just be catching up with everyone, but if someone has a presentation they'd like to do, all the better!
