[Ottawa_users] libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll missing

Sorry, just frustrated, you do make perfect sense.


I am installing GRASS 6.4, I installed the Windows .Net 4.5.1, and I
followed some troubleshooting instructions and installed OSGeo4W because it
would fix some dll issues. When I run GRASS I get libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll
missing and the program does not start. Could not find that specific dll
issue. I was going to download it online but I was told that's not such a
good idea.


The program did install but I don't remember what type of installer I used,
I think it was the Stable winGRASS 6.4 package.


That's all I can think of as being important.

are trying to do and how. Let me clarify what you want to do so that the
users can help you :

*	The software you are trying to install (It seems that it is GRASS). 

*	Which version?
*	Using what? (OSGeo installer?)

*	The OS. You provided that part and the version, which is good.

Geo4 somethingsomething is kind of short. Please always ask yourself this :
If you don't take the time to be accurate, why would we people take time to
answer? This is just a friendly piece of advice for you to get the answers
you need more quickly.

Hey,

Like the title says libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll missing. Tried installing GRASS
complete, and the I installed Geo4 somethingsomething still go the same
issue. I am no programmer, so I have no idea where or what this file belongs
to but apparently GRASS needs it, any help or suggestions please let me know
thanks.

 

Oh, forgot Windows 7 64bit, and I did install the .net frame work
4.6.5.2.3.3.34.3 or something like that. J
