[Ottawa_users] OSGeo-Ottawa Involvement at Vision Geomatique 2014 Conference

Hello all,



In the January meeting, we indeed discussed having OSGeo Ottawa involved in
the organisation of this event. This is a great opportunity to collaborate
with OSGeo Quebec, and helping out, and serve the cause of Open Source.

A couple of members are already in favor of getting the OSGeo involved.
>From my recollection of the last meeting, and the differents, the following
members would like to see OSGeo Ottawa involved.


   - Me
   - Javed
   - Richard
   - Christy
   - Regie

I would love to contact Daniel Morissette and confirm our involvement. I
will also ask what kind of help they will need, and what they have in mind
for this year. I want to make sure that there is a wide support from all
the members. If for some reason, you feel like we shouldn't get involved
feel free to do so but  really think we should help with this event.


I am giving myself until Feb 2nd to contact Daniel. Meanwhile, I count on
you to show your support or express your feeling about this event. I think
it is important to have a good number of people supporting that decision.
