Hi Folks,

I touched base last night with Daniel Morissette to get an update on the [1]
Vision Geomatique 2014 spatial event that is happening in Gatineau on Nov
11-13 2014. It is being put on by both the OSGeo-Quebec chapter + Vision
Geomatique. There was some talk with Daniel (Fabien/Regie/Christine/myself)
at the Ottawa LocationTech meetup last fall that the Ottawa OSGeo chapter
was quite interested in being involved.

This is going to be a great conference with its own open source/data track.
I'd like to see our chapter involved and am excited to get more involved
with the Quebec chapter.

Putting the email trail here for others to see what's happening. We'd love
your feedback/thoughts!

I will be bringing it up at the monthly meeting tonight.
Excellent news! Thanks a lot for leading the charge.
