I read the page on Boost's type-traits support last night, and am
interested.  I don't see how type-traits applies to us exactly yet, but it
may be that aggressive templatization might do a lot for us.  But templates
are something I know very little about, so I'm going to try and read a book
on generic/meta programming before the sprint and see if I get inspired.
