Yes. You need the hexer library, https://github.com/hobu/hexer

When running pdal info --boundary I get an error:

PDAL: Couldn't create filter stage of type 'filters.hexbin'

Using PDAL 1.0.1. Is there an additional dependency I have to install, or reinstall a later version of?

You can run `pdal merge` to generate a single file and then run `pdal info --boundary` on the result. There isn't currently a way to do this directly with a pipeline without specifying the files individually.

Hello,

What is the easiest way to use pdal info --boundary on multiple files? I want to compute the boundary for a set of tiled data files, can I do it without writing a pipeline file? (In fact, even if writing a pipeline file how would I generate the boundary?)

Thanks,

matt
