Hello Community Members,

I am Yige Huang, a junior student majoring in Spatial Informatics &
Digital Technology (SDT) at Wuhan University in Hubei, China. Here is
my GitHub [1] profile.

I will be working on the project "Improving Parameters and
Standardizing Results in pgr_withPointsDD Function for pgRouting" [2].
This project aims to improve the 'driver_side' optional parameter, add
a result column and standardize the output of pgr_withPointsDD
function. And all overloads of pgr_withPointsDD will be
implemented(Single vertex & Multiple vertices). For further details
about this project, please refer to my GSoC Proposal [3].

In a recent mentor-student meeting, we decided to enhance the
standardization of the category of driving distance [4] in
pgr_kruskalDD and pgr_primDD by adding the optional parameter
'equicost' [5]. This will help to ensure consistency in the
computation of driving distance. Aryan Gupta (also a GSoC2023 student)
and I will complete this work on the basis of the original project.

To track the progress of the project during the GSoC period, please
check the wiki page [6].

I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at my timeline
for each week and let me know if there are any mistakes. Any feedback
or suggestions you have would be amazing. I want to make sure I'm on
the right track and that my project is developing well.

Best Regards,

Yige Huang
