Hi Daniel,

Can you discuss what the issues are with respect to keeping the demos 
running? I can think of the following issues:

1) servers are up/down, access to servers might be problematic.
    - one solution is to look for new servers to host the demos
    - we should probably identify space and load requirements, but OSGeo 
might be able to help in this area.

2) changes to the code base are breaking the demos
    - probably need to know more about this if that is the case

3) changes to Posgtresql/PostGIS are breaking the demos
    - the demo system should be relatively stable on a constant version
    - we might need access to more version for testing (virtual machines?)
    - we might need to build an automated demo install script to make it 
easy to test on more versions.

4) Other reasons?

OK, rereading your email it seems that 1) is the likely issue. We might 
want to discuss some of the other potential issues also as part of the 
PSC if they are problematic.
