[pgrouting-users] postgis 2.0 and postgresql 9.1

We currently do not have a plan for a release. In fact we do not have a
developer that can do the release. I have spent a little bit of time
trying to identify what needs to be done, but have had no time to work
on it beyond the little bit of planning I have done.

I would agree that 2.0 should be targeted at PostgreSQL 9.x and PostGIS
2.0+ which probably means we should look into the new postgresql
   CREATE EXTENSION pgrouting;
system for installation.

If any developer(s) would like to step up to this task or any of the
release tasks, I'm willing to help out and share the effort and make
sure we have come continuity of effort.

And as Daniel commented funding or sponsorship could help. The TRSP
routing was customer funded and the core code development was done under
contract by Ashraf (aka: Roni) in Bangladesh, a former GSoC student.

Or eventually, I will have to upgrade my systems to Postgresql 9+ and
postGIS 2.0+ and be forced to figure this out in self-defense :)

Best regards,
   -Steve
