[pgrouting-users] Hello and ORBIS

I feel slightly dull about having not subscribed to this list before now. I used pgRouting for the routefinding in ORBIS, which is a geospatial network model of the Roman world:

I'm rather new to PostGIS and pgRouting, so I'm sure the functions I created are rather inefficient (but hopefully not flawed), and if any of you have any tips for improving it, please feel free to post them to the list or email me. You can find the core functions here:

I'd be happy to explain anything that doesn't make sense, though it likely will be of the "I didn't know about X" variety.
