You just might have a fun time compiling some of the libraries... :)

I suppose the likelihood of someone running pgRouting on SmartOS is low, but it's conceivable someone has tried it on Open Solaris.

You can use pgRouting on every OS that can run PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
