Hi Ross,

Are you using pgRouting on Windows environment ?
If so, the error is same as the following Github issue #336.
https://github.com/pgRouting/pgrouting/issues/336

I think that it is fixed temporary on pgRouting >= 2.1.0 beta binary already.
