Subject: Invitation to join the Philippine Remote Sensing Society (PhilRSS)

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

This is to cordially invite you to join the Philippine Remote Sensing
Society (PhilRSS). Please see

organization including its aims and objectives, by laws and
activities. If interested in becoming a part of the organization, you
may download the membership/nomination forms posted in the website
(See http://philrss.noahsark.webfactional.com/index.php/downloads) and
send it to any one of the members. Governmental institutions and
private organizations can also be sustaining members. The Society is
also open to student  membership.

The first and the second remote sensing conferences were held in MMSU
Batac, Ilocos Norte on June 2011 and at UP Diliman IESM  May 2012 with
kind support from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). It
was in the MMSU Conference where the PhilRSS was formally established.
As one of the plans for next year 2013, we will be holding the 3rd
National Remote Sensing and Geosciences Conference in May 2013. To
prepare for this event, a call for papers for this Conference will be
coming out by January 2013.

Recently, through the efforts of the PhilRSS, the Philippines'
membership with the Asian Association of Remote Sensing (AARS) has
been reinstated.

Let us together advance the cause of remote sensing and geosciences
through support for Society activities.
