[Portugal] off topic, instrumento ou sensor?

Obrigado Jorge!

Pelo que vi numa primeira pesquisa na Internet, parece que se usa os dois
termos indiferentemente. No entanto, no artigo da Wikipedia sobre MODIS,
tanto em português<http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moderate-Resolution_Imaging_Spectroradiometer>
, inglês<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moderate-Resolution_Imaging_Spectroradiometer>
como
em espanhol <http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/MODIS>, usam o termo instrumento
(cientifico) o que me lançou esta duvida. Pelo que pude entender o
instrumento MODIS (ou outro) é constituído por vários sensores que medem
diferentes comprimentos de onda a bordo de um determinado satélite (neste
caso Terra e Aqua). Acham correcta esta interpretação?
