[Portugal] qgis 1.7.4 gps coordinate capture

Hello list,

I would like to know if anyone uses the gps coordinate capture
function? I am trying to implement a system but I keep getting a core
dump when resuming a capture, on a new feature.
If I save the edit before adding a feature, the gps trail doesnt get
saved and ... core dump.

Any ideias?

asus eeepc 101 / asus r2h
ubuntu 10.10
bluetooth gps dongle (bluenext / g66)
