[postgis-devel] obfuscated wkt parser

I'm trying to understand how to add a check for polygon rings
to be closed, which is missed in postgis 1.0.

The parser is hardly readable to me, does anyone see
how am I supposed to check for first and last point of
a linestring ?

I'd add a linearring type for this purpose, but still I need
to understand how to read that structure.
