Kris, it's still a CVS snapshot, not a release.
Anyway:
The 'lwgeom' directory in the pgis_0_9_0 branch is not maintaned.
The 'hwgeom' directory in the HEAD branch is not maintaned.
LWGEOM is in the HEAD
HWGEOM is in pgis_0_9_0
Each other couterparts are still in the repository for reference,
not for builds.
Did 'make' in the source root give you problems ?
