autoupgrading is dangerous but otherwise, postgis-1.0 databases will
become unavailable immediately after upgrade.

interesting, but wild: could the liblwgeom.so.1.1, refered by symlink
liblwgeom.so.1.0, serve postgis-1.0 databases?
