Final call... things seems to be all clean now, right ?
Latest changes since first call:

	- regress test support for different archs

	- configure.in fixes for different archs

	- transform() warning on datum shift failures

There's still a flea in my ear saying something about
install/uninstall inconsistencies and installation
paths layout. Please keep an eye on it, and make it
a lion if you detect any inconsistency.
