[postgis-devel] Default encoding of AsBinary and AsEWKB

I just realized its not absolutely clear from the docs.  

For the variants of these functions that don't take the second argument,
is the default
always little endian, or does it depend on the platform you are on?

Also I don't see any OGC SPEC compliance note on ST_AsBinary - doesn't
that conform to the specs since it seems all spatial databases seem to
have this function.
