Wow - looks like people have been busy closing bugs while I've been away
which is good. I've been thinking about the 1.3.4 release and since the
GEOS PreparedGeometry fixes involved a lot of new C code, we probably
need to do a bit more comprehensive testing than normal. Hence I would
suggest that we arrange for the following tests before cutting a final
release:

i) PostgreSQL 7.2 testing

Yes, I know it's really old but it was agreed to keep older version
support until 1.4 :( So we should make sure that everything compiles
and passes regression.

ii) Platform testing

The 2 platforms that have tripped me up in the past with new swathes of
C code (and also changes to the build system) are Win32 and older
Solaris - both of these tend to have strange quirks which need to be
worked around. I suggest that we should ensure that SVN will build and
pass regression on both of these systems first. Now I can do the Win32
part no problem, but can anyone help out with Solaris?

ATB,

Mark.
