 Paul,

 I tried and succeeded, and it doesn't crash, but I think its all a lie.
 True depends claims postgis..dll depends on libxml-2-2.dll, but I think
 its lying or the software is lying to it.

 For two reasons
 1) This new postgis dll is twice the size of the dynamic one I built
 2) I deleted the friend it claims it needs from my PostgreSQL/bin (that
 being libxml-2-2 whatever

 3) Ran the select postgis_libxml_version()  -- which happily said "2.6.32"
 4) restarted postgresql service

 so where or where is it finding its playmate?

 I hate it when machines lie or start telling half-truths.  I thought
 machines are supposed to love you unconditionally :)
