[postgis-devel] WKT Raster: RasterLite (using SQLite)

Wasn't sure if WKT Raster folks were aware of this parallel effort.  Wonder
if some sort of synergy can be arranged.

Ideally as I mentioned.  SpatiaLite/RasterLite does sound like an ideal
companion for PostGIS in the field type (synchronization) apps since they
are both built with more or less the same tools (GEOS,Proj etc) and share
similar namings of functions.  Though SQLite doesn't have as many powerful
constructs or advanced query planner as PostgreSQL.  Nevertheless for in the
field work, its often good enough.
