Good point. Okay lets wait.  I can test this out tomorrow on a couple of
installs.

Though this is a long standing bug so if it doesn't work or we find issues
with it we should just push it to 1.4.1, 1.3.7.

I think we need this patch on 1.4 before we do the RC.
