Did you commit your change yet?  I don't see any changes in SVN and script still crashes.

On Mark advices, i've just updated (r 3818) and run again the  
gardentest.
And this time everything look fine (no st_dump crashes, and assvg  
still working)

My first uses of this magic units tests suite, terrific ! :)
