I'm glad to announce that gdal2wktraster now supports regular blocking.
All previous loading modes are still available, regular blocking is an
add-on, not a replacement to anything.

Example of use using sample utm.tif [1]:

1) Load whole utm.tif in single row

gdal2wktraster.py r utm.tif -t utm -o utm.sql
psql -d mydb -f utm.sql

2) Load utm.tif tiled according to regular blocking coverage

gdal2wktraster.py -r utm.tif -t utm_tiled -o utm_tiled.sql -k
psql -d mydb -f utm_tiled.sql
