 Latitude of true scale for Polar Stereographic is at 70S
 http://www.classroom.antarctica.gov.au/introduction/references-and-
 resources/classroom-antarctica-resources/maps/map-projections-in-the-
 antarctic-and-their-use/ which is coincidentally where the calculations
 agree.
