 Mark,

 Yap I did and had deleted all of them (except the one provided by EDB)
 (that fixed my inability to statically link). But still doesn't work when
 dynamically linking. I ended up just statically linking and that works
 fine.  Latest experimental builds have it statically linked in.

 I figure its safer anyway since PostgreSQL at least the windows version
 uses libxml2 also though they name it differently
 so if you are okay with the static solution feel free to close this out.
