 SQL Server has one of these built into their query tool and so does
 SpatiaLite.  The SpatiaLite one is a bit simpler, allows you to select a
 row and view the geometry.  There's is written in WxWidgets.  Wonder how
 hard it would be to integrate something like this in PgAminIII which is
 also WxWidgets based.

 Can't get over how cutesy, light and user friendly, and all integrated the
 SpatiaLite tools are.  Attached is an image for perspective.
