[postgis-devel] Proposing ST_Extract

Given the current ST_CollectionExtract is bound to collections
only AND that it takes types rather than dimensions, I would
favor adding another function (maybe deprecating the former)
taking dimensionality (0:point 1:line, 2:poly) and always
only return those types in output.

It could be called 'ST_Extract' or 'ST_ExtractByDimension'
