 Tried the new commit on Windows XP.

 It works fine if I only have one file.  If I try to select a second file,
 it crashes after selection of second file and some mouse movement.

 Also can we default the geometry name to geom.  I think we said we would
 change our standard default to geom (form the_geom) for 2.0.

 Can we also default to lower casing the table name.
