[postgis-devel] Feb. Code Sprint and WKTRaster?

Hi Pierre,

I am interested in WKT Raster because I think that having Raster support in
PostGIS will be extremely powerful for server-based geoprocessing. I've
developed a different cost-distance algorithm around the GP tools in Arc*,
and would like to be able to support that in PostGIS. I like working on
image processing and algorithm development, which is why I feel like I can
contribute to WKT Raster, specifically.

As for projects that I'm involved in: I have contributed to the OpenLayers
project in the past (I wrote the ArcXML format and ArcIMS layer). I am the
mapping contributor to the Sourcemap.org project, which provides a way to
open-source supply chains and make them transparent to consumers or
designers. Lastly, I am currently working on a proprietary framework for
viewing geographically aggregated data.

Hope that helps,
Zwarg
