[postgis-devel] breaking change of ~= is not reflected in doc

The change made in ticket 282

is not documentated.
 
I think this change should be announced in the NEWS doc because it might give bugs in applications that can hide for quite a long time.
 
Before we had the same definition of ~= as postgresql
http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.4/static/functions-geometry.html
 which we now leave.
 
I guess it must be of some importance to make peaple aware of it
