Well I dont think it even make sense, to have an empty
prefix in XML:

echo "<:foo xmlns:='http://foo.bar' />" | xmlllint -
-:1: namespace error : Failed to parse QName 'xmlns:'


So the 3 previous possibilities look fine (no prefix, gml prefix,
an another prefix)
