Paul,
Which version of GEOS are you configuring?
Like I mentioned I haven't had problems with GEOS <= 3.2.2 , but the 3.3.0
just can't build under mingw. Which I suspect you are running into the same
issues?
I think it builds fine under my VS /VS Express environments last I checked.
Which of course vastly limits my ability to test anything in the PostGIS
2.0 trunk (aside from I have issues - can't build even against old GEOS the
trunk under mingw)
Thanks,
Regina

Winguys and wingals,
Trying to follow the generic build instructions on the Wiki, I've found that
I simply cannot use the mingw/msys autotools to generate a GEOS configure
file. If I generate one on OSX and copy it over I can build GEOS, but the
mingw tools create a configure which then fails to detect int64 (and god
knows what else) which leads to various failures.
I can hack around this limitation as I always have, but I'm wondering if
there's some unwritten magic you've got going on. I used the instructions,
but I got no love.
P.
