I'm glad that the principle of the patch did not raise any serious
concern. I replied to the technical question raised by strk (
http://trac.osgeo.org/postgis/ticket/885#comment:8 ). I will proceed to
cleanup the patch for the trunk and make sure it matches the required
style ( http://trac.osgeo.org/postgis/browser/trunk/STYLE ).
