[postgis-devel] Continuing the discussion of deserializing raster header only from ticket #985

Pierre,

Since our discussion on that ticket digressed for that ticket 
specifically, I'm continuing that discussion here.

I'm for extending the current rt_raster_deserialize function by adding a 
"header_only" parameter to indicate that only the header should be 
deserialized.  I've already done so in my local copy and haven't had any 
issues with it.
