Comment:

 I used a smaller logo (same "projects" version) and put it in the header
 of the postgis.refractions.net / postgis.org site.

 I got it from here:
 http://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo/browser/marketing/logo/png24/125

 I might suggest the smaller logo for the wiki as well, and/or putting it
 at the bottom of the page ... since we can't do fancier layout or get it
 in the header. But I could go either way.

 I think this is done, so closing.
