[postgis-devel] Motion: vote for considering SRID <= 0 as "unknown"

So, to recap, SQL/MM says:

A spatial reference system identifier that is equal to 0 (zero) is
  implementation-defined.

A spatial reference system identifier that is not equal to 0 (zero) is
  implementation-dependent.

As per Paul's definition link [1] threatment of both is left to
the implementation to decide upon, but while SRID=0 is _required_
to be defined and documented, SRID<>0 is not even forced, but just
encouraged to be defined (??)

Going back to the motion of this thread, nothing makes me feel like we
should consider SRID <= 0 as references to rows of spatial_ref_sys.
