[postgis-devel] New node splitting algorithm for GiST

Hi!

Heikki Linnakangas recently commit my patch with new node splitting
algorithm for GiST to PostgreSQL master branch:

Since it can significantly accelerate index search, you might be interested
to apply same changes to PostGIS.
