Comment(by dzwarg):

 Changing the sql function to the signature outlined in
 [wiki:WKTRaster/SpecificationWorking03] Objective FV.03.1 requires that
 the pixel type is no longer optional.  This would make the rest of the
 ST_MapAlgebraXXX functions similar when we add user functions and
 neighborhoods.
