I've mentioned to Regina a couple of times that the MingW-w64 team also 
produce 32-bit host and target compilers, so if it were my choice I'd 
just go with (new) MingW-W64 for both 32-bit and 64-bit builds meaning 
that only one platform needs to be supported moving forwards.
