 Well the news file is already a text file and covers contributors in
 detail for each release.

 Though ideally the News file and the release in the docs would be
 generated from the same source since one is just a rehash of the other
 with the one in docs having hyperlinks etc.  That might not be worth the
 effort changing though.


 I'm not sure if we really need more than that aside from the main
 developer list which authors.svn already has. Granted authos.svn may not
 be the best point of reference for that.
