Hi, 
i have rebuild gdal (r24093), but i get the same error!

my configuration:
*sam at debian:~$ gdal-config --version*
1.9.0

*sam at debian:~$ gdal-config --formats*

Not sure if the output of gdal-config --version is correct!
should I get the revision number?
