 When building a topology from other geometry, the process can fail for a
 variety of reasons. The error messages are often specific to a line of
 code, and lack enough context for the user to make a good decision about
 how to fix the problems..

 Error messages can be improved to show some context, and ideally point the
 user  in a direction to fix the problems and try again.
