Sweet... one thing I noticed though... the problem referenced here:

http://trac.osgeo.org/postgis/ticket/1820

This issue still occurs in the 1.5 branch including the 1.5.6 tarball.
Would it be possible to merge a fix for that into the release if
indeed 1.5 is going to unofficially be supported on PostgreSQL 9.2?
The references to both "C" and "SQL" in the various CREATE FUNCTION
statements are bombing out on me currently, but replacing them with
their lower case equivalents fixes the problem.

I noticed that 1.5.6 hasn't been posted yet to the official downloads
page, so would it be possible to re-roll a release or would this be
something that could make it's way into a potential future release of
1.5? Even if 9.2 is unofficially supported in some capacity, I'm not
sure that it's actually possible to install at the moment without
manual editing of postgis.sql, even if it does compile correctly after
the fix in r10579.

Cheers.
