[postgis-devel] WKT/WKB/GeoJSON output always valid input

Hi,

(I could not figure out a better subject line)

Here is a simple seemingly trivial/unnecessary question:

Is it valid expectation that PostGIS must be able to consume
WKT/WKB/GeoJSON/... outputs it produces?

Is there such a policy or objective in the project?
