[postgis-devel] Public Raster C API

I recall long ago I was interested in seperating  GEOS  'make valid' 
into a library.. 
I do not see a Shapely method for 'make valid', on quick inspection..

at any rate, to seperate out librtcore.so  from   rtpostgis.so

in configure.ac line  around line #1274  
I see some lwgeom references... 
 
 
where else to look for lwgeom config files as an example ?

  postgis_trunk/raster/scripts/python/raster2pgsql.py
 
it uses the gdal python bindings.. no indication of linking 
to rtpostgis-2.2.so
