[postgis-devel] Feature request in postgis 3.0

One of the newest features in postgresql 10/11 is partitioned tables.  This
is a major advancement over inherited tables. I have already seen the
performance increase in partitioned tables with time as partitioned index.
Search timescaleDB.  Can we leverage this in postgis?  Maybe partitioned by
bounding box as x and y?  Could start with point table?
