[postgis-devel] Getting PostGIS 3.0alpha1 super early

Hi,

We've made a bunch of changes into PostGIS 3.0 and are going to continue
that throughtout the year.

How about we release a PostGIS 3.0alpha1 somewhen by Christmas of your
tradition?

Absolutely no guarantees, no support for upgrade path, for the brave who
want it but can't install software without a version.

Of big things we already have MVT Feature ID, ND SP-GiST, raster split,
minor version loss.
